An Asbestos Management Survey is a non-intrusive survey carried out in accordance with HSG264. It aims to locate any Asbestos-Containing Materials (ACMs) so that relevant materials can be managed during the normal occupation of the premises.
These reports are commonly requested for the common parts of flats, often in conjunction with a fire risk assessment, by solicitors during the sales process.
We can provide both services, with reports normally available within 48 hours.
The surveyor will attend the site and undertake a non-intrusive survey of the property and, where necessary, take samples that will then be sent to a UKAS-accredited laboratory for testing.
The results of the Asbestos Management Survey are then used to produce an Asbestos Report, which contains the Asbestos Register and Asbestos Management Plan.
